Unite with women in your community for this interactive festival of ideas! A lighthearted, interactive, engaging and expressive festival to assist to #BREAK THE BIAS

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #BreakTheBias, challenging us to consider a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.

We invite all people from all areas of our community to celebrate International Women’s Day with us in Kiama on Tuesday 8th March from 11.15am.

A light lunch will be provided to accompany inspirational conversations with renowned Author, Parenting & Resilience Educator – Maggie Dent, Aboriginal Elder, international speaker and author – Aunty Munya Andrews as well as Assistant NSW Police Commissioner – Stacey Maloney.  We will chat openly with LGBTQIA+ representatives dispel some myths, and break down common communication barriers.

Do you want to glean insight on how to start to say goodbye to stress, and hello to calm? Reetu Verma, will assist you to understand how yoga and meditation can assist you to tap into positive energy and find serenity.

The afternoon will be enjoyed with a series of hands-on, engaging, and power-packed workshops.

With your ticket purchase, you must opt into one workshop from Round 1 and one workshop from Round 2.

A range of artists will also be performing on the day to assist in keeping our happy vibes flowing.
