We focus on the issues that riders talk to us about. For example, many riders want to learn more about cornering.
Other riders want to learn more about managing traffic, or, reducing their aches and pains.
The workshop covers these issues and many other little decisions we make that help to make the ride more enjoyable, for example:
The key decisions for seeing what is around the next corner, riding in groups, being seen in traffic and staying alert.
How to manage the stressful situations that cause you to tense up.
How to connect properly with your machine – cruisers, sports, scooters, etc.
Recognising the little mistakes you make and how to avoid them in the future.
Recognising what you do well and repeating those decisions.
Our aim:
Survive The Ride Association of NSW works to assist riders enjoy riding while also minimising the chance of repair bills, medical bills and Police fines.
Why should you attend?
Our workshops are attended by experienced riders, returning riders and new riders. Their common aim is to improve their skills, increase their smiles and reduce surprises on the road.
Like you, we make mistakes each time we ride. We discuss many of the simple mistakes we have made so we can reduce our surprises in the future.
We will help you recognise your little mistakes and discuss ways to avoid them next time.
Both new and experienced riders have benefited from the workshops. Some riders want to discuss specific issues, others just want a refresher, while others want the chance to chat to riders about their experiences.
We are riders with a range of experience from Police pursuit, to teaching advanced riding skills and racing. We are passionate about helping riders increase their smiles each time they ride.
