The Norfolk Room

Named for the iconic Norfolk Pine trees that line Kiama’s coast (and were once used for ship’s masts!). This large space occupies much of the top floor – with a bar and kitchen facilities, plus full audio/video/lighting options, a stage and even a grand piano! Seating capacity is 400 in theatre configuration or 240 banquet style, with outdoor balcony access and views across to the beach, ocean and escarpment. The Saddleback, Surf Beach and Kendall Rooms

These air-conditioned spaces occupy the ground floor and are ideal for smaller meetings, break-out activities during a larger conference or for a more intimate gathering. Each enjoys ample natural light and can hold up to 50 people, depending on layout – from theatre style to meeting room or cocktail configuration. Furthermore, the Saddleback and Surf Beach rooms may be combined for extra versatility. See the plans below for more details.

Accessibility

The Pavilion has full disabled accessibility with ramps facilitating access to each level of the building. Hearing Loop access is available for those with hearing aids or cochlear implants. We can also provide age-appropriate seating for those with additional needs.

Outside the box spaces

We’re here to help you create a unique event – so talk to us about using the whole space in your planning. To date, we’ve successfully held events out on the covered balcony, the sun-soaked entrance foyer and more. Anything is possible and we’ll help you bring your vision to life!
