We had our wedding at the Pavilion Kiama on 16th October 2025 and all I can say is WOW. The whole process from planning, communication, every little detail was considered. To Kylie and team, Rebecca and team & Noel-Marie. You have all made sure our day was so special. The food is PERFECTION!! Tasty, luxe and over all looks pretty amazing. Service is friendly, quick and so professional. The views are breathtaking. There was not one complaint from any guest, if anything the talk of the town has been how amazing and great our wedding was!! With quote “This is the best wedding I have ever been to, and I have been to a fair few”. We are still on a buzz at how amazing our beautiful day was! It couldn’t have been more perfect. We cannot thank you all enough. For anyone considering booking the Pavilion for their wedding please do it NOW!! I cannot recommend this enough. The ceremony space is just as amazing. The Norfolk Room can accommodate up to 240 guests for a seated banquet or up to 400 guests in theatre style. For more intimate celebrations, The Pavilion also has smaller spaces that can accommodate up to 50 guests, depending on the room layout.

The Pavilion Kiama’s exclusive caterer and wedding manager, Culinarius, offers sit-down, cocktail and shared-feast menus. Packages can include canapés, a three-course meal, beverage packages, tea and coffee, and selected styling elements. The team can also discuss a menu tailored to your wedding.

Yes. The Pavilion is a flexible space that can be styled around your wedding vision. The team can help tailor details such as food, beverages, decorations and selected suppliers, while the venue’s layouts, balcony areas and ocean views offer a strong starting point for a celebration that feels like your own.

Is there accommodation near The Pavilion Kiama?

Yes. The Pavilion is centrally located near a range of accommodation options for wedding guests. Kiama Harbour Cabins are around a five-minute walk away, Surf Beach Holiday Park is around eight minutes on foot, and there are hotels, motels, apartments and larger group options throughout Kiama.

Do our guests get a discount on accommodation?

They sure do! We offer discounts to all wedding guests with our accommodation partners. Please note bookings are direct with accommodation providers, speak with us directly for further information and when your event is confirmed we will supply a code upon confirmation. Is The Pavilion Kiama accessible for wedding guests?

Yes. The Pavilion has ramp access to each level, lift access and hearing-loop availability. The team can discuss additional seating or access requirements when planning your wedding.

How do I organise a site visit?

To book a site visit at The Pavilion for your wedding, call our Wedding Coordinators on (02) 4232 1419 or contact our wedding team to organise a time.

How do I book?

To book The Pavilion for your wedding, request a contract from our team, review and sign and send back with the venue hire deposit. Contact our team to request a wedding contract.

Can we bring in our own catering or bar vendors?

Unfortunately, no. We are not a BYO venue. All catering and beverage service is provided by our current wedding contractor. Please contact our team to discuss your catering requirements.

Are we allowed to bring in our own decorations and set these up ourselves?

Yes, please discuss this with our team at your planning meeting.

Final Numbers and Payment

Final numbers and payment are due 4 weeks prior to your event.

If it rains, where will my ceremony be?

Our wet weather for your ceremony will be held in The Pavilion Foyer with lots of natural light and high ceilings looking over Kiama Showground and up to the iconic Kiama Lighthouse. This decision is made at 11am on the day of the wedding.

What happens when the beverage package ends?

Speak with our friendly caterers prior to your big day about beverage package extensions to and about our cash bar on the night options.

How many hours do I have the reception room hire for?

5 hours with options available to extend prior to the big day!

What time does weddings need to finish by?

All weddings need to be finished by 11:30pm

Where can our guests park?

We have approximately 150 carparks on site. Car parks are available for guest parking and are complimentary.

Are dogs allowed?

Please note our building is not pet friendly. Although Guide/Assistance Dogs are welcome under NSW Government regulation.

Can I book The Pavilion Kiama for my ceremony only?

Unfortunately, we only offer ceremonies exclusively to couples who are also holding their wedding reception with us.

Does The Pavilion Kiama provide AV equipment and Wi-Fi for weddings?

Yes. Wedding packages include standard AV equipment such as a projector and screen or LCD TV, lectern, wireless microphones and sound system. Cabled and wireless NBN connection is also available.
