Swap fabrics and haberdashery you don’t want, for stuff you do!

With home crafting and sewing becoming more popular than ever, our Fabric Swap Event provides an opportunity for sewers and would-be sewers alike to clear out their fabric stashes and to donate rather than sending it to landfill.  Excess fabric that has been donated to the Kiama Boomerang Bag group and deemed not suitable for making boomerang bags, will also be offered at this event.

Thursday 23 August key times:

*For those donating, we have VIP Early Entry Passes available which will give you exclusive access 30 minutes prior to the doors opening.

This waste initiative event is to be held in collaboration with R3 (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Kiama). Volunteers from R3 will be on hand to receive fabric donations, set up the event and provide fabric advice to attendees.
Those taking home items will be asked for a donation, with all funds raised covering the costs for the left over fabric to be recycled through Upparel.
